Methamphetamine use is rising again. During this presentation, there will be a review of methamphetamine toxicology and use prevalence. Following the initial overview, associated clinical manifestations of methamphetamines and treatment of acute methamphetamine intoxication will be covered.

• Describe the historical perspectives and epidemiology of methamphetamines
• Define and review methamphetamine pharmacology, toxicology, and associated clinical manifestations
• Describe the treatment of acute methamphetamine intoxication
• Define and describe the methamphetamine problem in the United States and in Florida
