ABC’s of Pediatric EMS

Held May 3, 2022 at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, FL

Children who require emergency care have unique needs and are rare patients. This one-day immersive program will educate EMS professionals through skills stations and lectures on how to appropriately care for the smallest patients in the field.

Target Audience: Florida’s EMS providers (limited to 35 participants)

Objectives:

  • Review the latest guidelines in pediatric resuscitation.
  • Practice pediatric emergency skills and procedures.
  • Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication.
  • Illustrate techniques to comfort and care for pediatric patients.
