About:
EMS and other healthcare providers are increasingly treating patients who are taking buprenorphine. This presentation will discuss the role of medicated-assisted treatment (MAT) in the current opioid epidemic. Specifically, we will discuss the effects of buprenorphine. It is important to know the complications and effects of this drug. We will also discuss its role in “bridge therapy.”
