COVID-19 Vaccination Training Toolkit for EMS
Provided by the Florida Department of Health
On February 16, 2021, State Surgeon General Scott A. Rivkees, MD issued an Emergency Rule 64JER21-1: Paramedic and Emergency Medical Technician Administration of COVID-19 Vaccines. This Emergency Rule (ER) authorizes licensed EMS agencies to conduct in-house trainings and psychomotor skills validations by following the training outlined below:

Each licensed provider must have a training program that complies with the above materials, as approved by their Medical Director. Each employee, paramedic or EMT, must have a skills check sheet signed by the Medical Director or designee on file with their licensed agency.
