FLORIDA EMERGENCY MEDICINE FOUNDATION (FEMF)
The Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation (FEMF) prepares Florida and the nation for emergencies and disasters by educating and training emergency care providers. We proudly serve the entire spectrum of emergency care professionals, ranging from EMTs and paramedics to nurses, advanced practice providers and physicians.
In other words: we provide lifesaving education for lifesavers.
Nonprofit & Accreditation Information
The Emergency Medicine Learning and Resource Center (EMLRC)/Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation (FEMF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. EMLRC/FEMF is an accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME) by the following authorities:
- Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) – national/international: provides continuing medical education for physicians (AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™).
- Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) – national: provides continuing medical education for EMTs and paramedics.
- Florida Emergency Medical Services (FEMS) – state: provides continuing medical education for EMTs and paramedics.
- Florida Board of Nursing – state: provides continuing medical education for nurses.
Accreditation varies by course. Please read accreditation information for each course to ensure you’ll receive credit.
