By Jay Falk, M.D., FACEP
Immediate Past President
Chair, Board/Councillor Nominating Committee

If you are interested in serving as a member of the Board of Directors, I encourage you to submit an email letter of interest. This is an excellent educational opportunity to work with great leaders in emergency medicine, to advocate on behalf of our patients, to help set our FCEP agenda for years to come.

FCEP continues to grow in membership – we are now one of the top 5 largest chapters in ACEP with over 2,000 members. In July, our EM resident members will increase to over 350 individuals. We continue to have a significantly important legislative and regulatory agenda as well as expanded educational programs to serve our patients and members.

As Chair of this year’s FCEP Board of Directors Nominating Committee, I encourage you to consider submitting a letter to be considered by the Nominating Committee for a position on the Board. Please submit a letter/email of interest to Beth Brunner no later than June 15. She can be reached by email at bbrunner@fcep.org, by fax at (407) 281-4407, or mail at 3717 South Conway Road, Orlando, FL 32812.

Below are the requirements per our bylaws:
